Faculty and Friends concert series - Settlement Recital Hall
With cellist Ida Mercer. The program will include works for solo cello by JS Bach, jazz cellist Mark Summer, and a transcription of Bobby McFerrin's version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Cellist Derek Snyder will join Ida in a performance of a rarely performed duo by Jacques Offenbach. Pianist Adam Whiting will join Ida to conclude the program with Samuel Barber's Sonata Opus 6.
