Hammer-On/ Pull-Off Cello Techniques and Cerulean Blues

Excerpt from text:

The pizzicato techniques discussed here have been adapted from guitar and upright jazz bass usage. Three types of articulation are explained step-by-step in order of their first appearance in example 1 below. When you can handle the basics in examples 1 and 2 you will be ready to read the arrangement of the blues/spiritual Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child. Following that are two more grooves. With practice these techniques can feel and sound as effortless as (and maybe even more natural than) orthodox cello techniques.

MAY WE RECOMMEND?
* As this work employs a wicked cool pizzicato technique quite non-traditional to the cello, we recommend checking out Pizzicato, Hammer-on & Pull-off Basics by Stephen Katz.
